Week 5 Recap: Null Pointers Stay Perfect While Dallas Cowsay Edge Phishing for Touchdowns
A look at the final scores, standout performances, and questionable starts that defined the fifth week of the rm -rFFL season.
Null Pointers kept their flawless run alive, beating Runtime Ravens 134.0‑104.4. Mike Evans led the charge with 26.3 points and James Cook III added 22.8, while Trevor Lawrence’s 22.7 was enough to keep the offense humming.
Packer Capture survived a close contest, dispatching Segmentation Fault 174.8‑137.9. Jaylen Warren’s monster 36.8 and Jordan Love’s 25.3 kept the lead, though the decision to start Chris Olave (8.6) over bench‑warmers like Matthew Golden (20.3) raised eyebrows.
Gridiron Garrison dominated Angry Birds Expert 178.5‑88.5, thanks to Isaiah Likely’s 32.4 and Christian Watson’s 32.3. Josh Allen’s 31.5 on the mound capped a balanced attack, while the bench saw only Khalil Shakir’s modest 11.0.
Tiger Wish‑He‑Could outscored Botnet Blitz 143.6‑88.2. Jahmyr Gibbs erupted for 37.7 and Malik Nabers contributed 29.1, but the move to drop Hunter Henry after the week left a TE void that could bite later.
Dallas Cowsay squeaked past Phishing for Touchdowns 158.3‑126.4, propelled by a trio of WRs: Puka Nacua (37.7), George Pickens (28.0) and Garrett Wilson (23.4). The questionable start of Jeremiyah Love (2.2) over Jameson Williams (18.7) was the only blemish on an otherwise solid showing.
